In 2003, when I had just turned six, my mom, Parul Doshi,

made a life-changing decision. At the time, she was working long

hours at an insurance company, 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. I spent most of my days in care, and she couldn’t shake the feeling that she needed to be home — to do something different, something that allowed her to be present for her family while creating something meaningful.

With my dad often traveling for work, she was holding down the fort at home. And yet, even in the midst of it all, she found the courage to start something new. That’s when the beginnings of Little Angels School in San Ramon were born — a home-based childcare built on love, kindness, and community.

 

From day one, my mom poured her heart into it. She made fresh food every single day, cared for every child as if they were her own, and created a space where children felt safe, happy, and deeply loved. Little Angels became more than just a school — it became a family for so many.

Today, we are opening and beginning a new chapter — a dream my mom has carried for years. She has always wanted to open her own preschool center, and now, together, she and I are making that dream a reality. Our shared passion for working with children, creating spaces that spark curiosity, and building a community-centered learning environment is stronger than ever.
