founder & co-owner
My name is Parul, and I am the founder of Little Angels School. I started my family child care business in 2003 as a way to stay at home with my two children, who were 5 and 7 years old at the time. What began as a personal decision to be with my children quickly blossomed into a deep passion for early childhood education.

Though I initially had little knowledge of early childhood development, I was filled with hope and excitement to learn. I went on to complete my ECE units and completed an internship at an established school, where I gained hands-on experience and furthered my understanding of child development. Armed with that knowledge and experience, I was able to expand my family child care into a nurturing and supportive environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.

I value and thank everyone who has supported me along the way, and I’m thrilled to partner with my daughter, Bhavya, as we embark on the exciting journey of opening our first preschool center. It’s a new chapter, and I couldn’t be more excited about the future!

Hello! My name is Bhavya. My journey into the world of child care began at home, quite literally, when my mom started a family child care program right in our living room. Watching her nurture and support children every day ignited my curiosity and deep fascination with how children grow, learn, and develop. From a young age, I found myself drawn to the wonder of childhood and the incredible potential within each child.
Growing up, I explored many different dreams. At one point, I wanted to be an actress, imagining the stage as a place where I could tell stories and connect with people. Then, I was captivated by the power of writing and storytelling. Later, I thought I might pursue medicine, driven by a desire to care for and heal others. But it was during a high school child development class that everything clicked for me—I realized that supporting children in their earliest stages of growth was where my true passion lay. There was so much to learn about how children develop emotionally, socially, and cognitively, and I knew I wanted to be part of that journey.
I pursued that calling wholeheartedly, earning my Bachelor of Arts in Child Development and then a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Mills College. These years of study deepened my understanding of child development theories and practical teaching approaches, preparing me for a meaningful career. During the challenging times of the pandemic, I stepped into the role of preschool director, a position that tested my leadership skills and resilience but also fueled my dedication. Being a director allowed me to shape an environment where children, families, and educators could thrive together.
After five years of leading a preschool, I am more inspired than ever to create a space that is not just about learning, but about community, connection, and real magic. I want this place to be a haven where children feel seen and supported, where creativity flourishes, and where everyone—from children to parents to staff—feels part of something special.
My mom and I are incredibly excited to embark on this new journey together. Combining her years of experience and my passion for child development, we’re committed to creating a nurturing, joyful environment that brings positive change and lasting magic into the lives of the children and families we serve.

Growing up in a large family with seven younger siblings, I spent much of my adolescent life caring for and connecting with little ones. After relocating to the U.S., I found myself missing the joy of being around children. That longing led me to explore working with preschoolers, and I quickly discovered how fulfilling it is to be surrounded by their pure, genuine energy. What I love most about working with young children is their honesty, curiosity, and the simple joy they bring into every moment.
With over 12 years of experience in early childhood education, I have had the pleasure of working with children aged 12 months to 5 years old. My favorite part of the day is circle time and story time, where I can engage with the children in a creative, interactive way. I also love bringing a bit of humor and silliness into our daily routines—laughter is an essential part of learning!
Every day in the classroom is a new adventure, and I am honored to be part of each child's growth and development.

There’s a deep sense of fulfillment that comes with witnessing the growth and development of a child. I truly believe that nurturing life skills from a young age is essential for their future success. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of this foundational stage of a child’s life.

With almost 6 years of experience working with children aged 12 months to 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding them through the early stages of learning and personal development. My favorite moments are the ones that allow me to connect with the children—whether it’s circle time, where we sing, read stories, play games, or simply engage in conversation.
My focus in the classroom is on helping children develop essential skills such as social responsibility, problem-solving, and effective communication. I believe that by fostering these skills early, we equip them with the tools they need to navigate the world around them.
Outside of teaching, I find peace in organizing, gardening, and crafting—activities that I find to be both therapeutic and creatively fulfilling.
